They can also be very daunting. There is so many new sensations and biological processes going on in your body that you have never experienced before.
The key is to educate ourselves!
There is so much information online and in books on these subjects. As a Naturopath and a Mum, I can advise and treat you for your individual needs.
Throughout pregnancy we can become deficient in certain nutrients which are in high demand by the developing fetus. Some nutrients are very significant for brain development of the fetus and for the health of YOU (MUM).
Some of the important nutrients are:

- Magnesium
- Vitamin D
- DHA
It is very empowering to know that we as women can make a huge difference in positively effecting the development of our baby through gestation and the first months of his/her life by choosing the best nutrition and natural treatments throughout our pregnancy and the birthing process of bub.
Eating a diet of fresh, Organic (whenever possible) – fruits and vegetables, legumes, nuts and seeds, organic free range meats, organic eggs and sustainable caught fish is essential.
